“ Beautiful collection of timeless fabrics to own. I bought the white and indigo scarf as our anniversary present. It’s beautiful, soft and highly versatile. A high quality, real 100% wool scarf. My perfect accessory. “ ~ Deepa

  • The scarves I purchased from Weaves and Wildflowers were so very well received. My sister made an extra phone call to me to say just how lovely the fabric is, the color, the fineness of the weave and hand of the silk. She was very pleased to received such a well crafted gift to wear and show off.

…Through Our Ethical Choices

Based on the three principles of sustainability: Social, Economic, Environmental, we, at Weaves & Wildflowers, are closely involved with the makers and ensure each product is ethically sourced. Profit from sales goes back into the community for steady work availability for existing weavers, for improvement of working conditions of these clusters, and to create opportunities to include more weavers and skills.

Our purpose is to work towards the betterment of the quality of life for artisans and the products they make, and also the promotion of traditional arts and craft.

We only use high quality and ethically sourced natural fibers and yarns. We focus on creating products in a way, which is considerate of well being of our environment, wearer as well as the maker. We keep our processes manual as much as possible. The goal is to have a system which works without leaving a negative footprint on our beautiful planet earth.

…Through Our Product Vocabulary

India is a land of extraordinary handwoven fabrics of a plethora of unique styles. Most Indian crafts, especially in relation to textiles, have unique codes pertaining to the geography they come from. We try to focus on such details and build our design stories around them. We celebrate fabric from its inception at the fiber stage all the way to a tangible product. Our processes center around working closely with master weavers and their textile traditions across various parts of India.
